Villain & Saint is a new, Haight-Ashbury-inspired rock venue for live music in Bethesda. Chef Robert Wiedmaier is letting his hair down with his newest concept for downtown Bethesda, a San Francisco-inspired rock ‘n’ roll music hall called Villain & Saint. It will host nightly gigs at 9 p.m. for bands from the D.C. area and farther flung locales. On Sunday, Villain & Saint will host jazz brunches. The decor is meant to channel Saint Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, with lava lamps and beaded curtains, as well as a pressed tin ceiling and a mural of musical legends.
