Florence and the Machine to headline Apple Music Festival
Apple announced on Tuesday that Florence and the Machine, Pharrell Williams, Disclosure and One Direction will be the main events at the company's rebranded version of the iTunes Festival, the Apple Music Festival. The festival starts September 19 and continues until the 28th for a total of ten nights of tunes that will broadcast live from London's Roundhouse and be available for viewing both live and on-demand on Apple Music. The festival is to be covered on Beats 1, Apple's first live, worldwide radio station, providing backstage footage and interviews with artists to be made available on Apple Music Connect, which lets artists exchange lyrics and backstage photos and even release songs directly to fans.
